1. Overview

This Refund and Payment Policy outlines the terms related to payments and refunds for services used on the ScanOrderGo platform. ScanOrderGo acts as a technology facilitator between the Customer and the Business Owner (the "Restaurant"). We do not directly process payments for food and services but provide tools for payment confirmation.

2. Customer Payments

Customers are prompted to settle their bill after their order is marked as "Served" or "Picked Up". ScanOrderGo offers several methods for this:

  • Pay via UPI: The platform provides the Business Owner's UPI details. The Customer makes the payment using their own third-party UPI application. The transaction occurs directly between the Customer and the Business Owner.
  • Pay at Counter: The Customer can choose to settle their bill directly with the Restaurant's staff using traditional methods (cash, card machine, etc.).

For UPI payments, Customers are required to upload a screenshot of the completed transaction. This screenshot is used by the Business Owner solely for the purpose of verifying payment and is not used for any other purpose.

3. Disclaimer and Refund Responsibility

All financial transactions, order disputes, and refund requests are handled directly and exclusively between the Customer and the Business Owner. ScanOrderGo is a technology platform and is not a party to the transaction. We do not hold any funds from the transaction and are not responsible for issuing refunds.

The decision to grant a refund, and the process of issuing it, is at the sole discretion of the Business Owner, in accordance with their individual store policies and applicable consumer protection laws.

4. How to Request a Refund

If you are a Customer and believe you are entitled to a refund (e.g., due to an incorrect order, quality issues, or payment error), you must:

  1. Contact the Restaurant Staff Directly: The quickest way to resolve any issue is to speak with the manager or staff at the Restaurant where the order was placed.
  2. Provide your order number and details of the issue. If you made a UPI payment, have your transaction details ready.

5. Disputes

ScanOrderGo is not a party to the payment transaction for food and services and is not liable for any disputes that arise between a Customer and a Business Owner regarding payments, order quality, or refunds. We encourage both parties to resolve any issues amicably and directly.

However, if you believe there has been fraudulent activity on the platform itself, please contact us immediately.
